Soccer Aid Sunday

Don't forget Gethin is playing in Kenny Dalglish's 'Rest of the World' team (which seems to consist of more Welshmen than any other nationality) in the Soccer Aid match. If you can't be at Old Trafford, watch it on ITV1, Sunday 6th June from 6pm.
He says:
“It would be amazing to beat England at Old Trafford, it’s about time we turned the tables a little bit. We are underdogs going into it - for us we’re like the Barbarians of the rugby world, you never know which team’s going to turn up whereas England are quite consistent (but) I’m sure we’ll put up a good fight.”

“Its interesting because I thought it would be that case of the professionals being dead calm on the ball and spray it around and all the celebrities would be running around like mad, running out of puff after twenty minutes but it kind of wasn’t like that! You just know the pros are going to have a great touch you don’t disrespect that, just do your best and see what happens and if you get to nutmeg one of them you’ll remember it for the rest of your life. That’s what I want to do, I want to nutmeg Jamie Redknapp!”

Good luck with that, Jonesy!
