Sun Hunks Poll
Whilst Strictly Come
Dancing was taking
over our TV screens during the autumn of 2007, The Sun decided to run a poll to
find out who the biggest hunk on the show - Gethin
or Matt Di Angelo
It's taken a while for the votes to be counted but as you've probably
guessed, our boy stormed to victory and won the poll with a whopping 77% of the vote.
So it's offical - Gethin
is the nation's favourite!

has been having a look at the figures behind Gethin's
performance on Strictly Come Dancing.
Just
how good a dancer was Gethin Jones as compared to the best of the
previous male celebrities? To find out I have looked at the
scores of Darren
Gough, Mark Ramprakash, Colin Jackson, Matt Dawson & Matt
DiAngelo, as well
as Gethin himself, and the following statistics make interesting
reading.
Gethin
holds the following SCD records
Highest
score for American Smooth over all competitors 38 points.
Highest score for the Jive for a male celebrity 37 points
Equal highest score for V.Waltz for male celebrity with Mark 36 points.
In
a direct comparison dance for dance between the 6 men :
Mark acheived higest score 4 times (Samba, V.Waltz, Paso, AT)
Gethin achieved highest score 3 times (V. Waltz, A.Smooth, Jive)
Colin achieved highest score 3 times (ChaChaCha, Rumba, Q.Step)
Matt DiAngelo achieved highest score 2 times (Waltz. Salsa)
Matt Dawson achieved highest score 1 time (Foxtrot)
Darren Gough achieved highest score 1 time (Tango)
As all true Gethin's Girls would agree the waltz record really belongs
to
Gethin but we have to be fair I suppose!
